As several posting recommended the KORI restaurant in Kuta I couldn't help myself but try it. Setting (several areas, some ponds, open air and covered seating, well-ventilated but no air-con) and decoration are nice, service friendly and professional. Small menu with Thai, Italian, Australian, and Indonesian dishes, all well prepared and presented. Very nice home-baked breads. Dinner for two 300,000 Rupiah and good value for money -- this is a real restaurant, not one of the many amateur operations you see in Bali.

A bit offending is their promotional flyer where the say "the most exciting and most relaxing restaurant in Kuta". I think nobody should say something like this about his own business -- better let your customers judge you.

The only other draw-back is the location in tiny Poppies II Lane: often congested, no possibility to park a car. However, when leaving we saw they offer parking service and park your car a few hundred meters away. If this works we will visit again.

Selamat Makan.
