I don't think there's any kind of candy that's particular 'Bali'. Besides, any candy you can buy there, I've bought at home as well (the Asian food stores often have them). I'm not sure about candles either. My suggestion is small wood carvings. I don't know if you think that would be too expensive, but I think you could do a deal for a lot of them. I've seen tiny masks (like they would fit in your hand) and there's lots of other stuff.
