After the rupiah having dropped enormously in the last six to eight month, the situation changed recently, especially the rupia/us$-rate weakened from about 10500 on Sep, 28 (50$-bills changed in Sanur) to 6400 (as read in this forum two days ago). This is a loss of about 40% for the US-currency, although the Balinese really deserve their strengthening economy!
Whish you better conditions (i.e. currency)
