I found "Gosha's" on Jl Melasti (runs from seafront to Jl Legian in Legian) the best experience on my recent trip. Found this place on last but one day of our holiday and ate there twice. Second time shared a 1.1Kg snapper @ 70,000Rph/Kg. My wife had it plain I with garlic butter - heavenly!
Their "Arak Attack" (Arak + fruit juice) was also the best I'd tried on the island - used lemon++ instead of the usual orange juice.
Ate twice at Jimbaran beach - eating on the beach at sunset watching the fishing boats going out for the night is wonderful. However quality of the food is average - all is cooked over a grill (coconut husks). This makes the (probably excellent) lobster, crab etc very tough and dry. Stick to the fish (much cheaper also)
