I am also a sushi lover but in Hong Kong it is either very expensive or the quality is dubious. I had a number of sushi meals in Bali. Once in a little restaurant in Kuta (on a main road close to Poppies Cottages) and twice in Sanur (I think it's one of the Ryoshi chain). You should be able to find some Japanese restaurants wherever you are...have a look at the menu first for prices. I thought prices were exceptionally cheap. Variety is not great...but the basics, tuna, salmon, tekka maki and california rolls are available. Something different to try is definitely the marlin. Enjoy.
