Hi Megan,
Contrary to a previous posting I haven't found that the wet season is a real problem. It rains every day at the same time for about 1 hour or so then stops. It is quite easy to plan your days around this. I find that it is enjoyable sitting in a street-side bar or cafe, watching it bucket, down over a beer or a coffee. An especially good spot is the verandah at the Loji Supermarket on Jalan Legian. Just watch the world go round for a while. Also the rain refreshes the street in readiness for your next attack. The rain aside, during the wet season there is generally cloud about and the winds tend to be on-shore. The temperatures are higher as is the humidity. As I said, sing ken ken!!
Enjoy
Mitch
