of the choices you've got I would go for either of the two Santrian places depending on where you want to be. La Taverna has a great restaurant but the pool has no where to lie around and is painted a brillient white and the glare is impossible, with kids you wouldn't be able to lie around and watch them in the pool as there is just no room. The rooms are pretty average - we were there over new year a couple of years ago and had an enormous storm the ceiling of our room fell in and the room flooded. There were no more rooms available and they couldn't find us another room. We ended up camping out in reception for the night! The gazebo has vastly different rooms and what is in the brochere is not always what you get the swimming pool is also small and pretty grotty. Both the Santrian properties are really nice with good pools on good beaches. The one at the southern end of Sanur is more up market (but not by much) but is further away from all the restaurants and markets, so it depends on what you are looking for. I would go for the one in Central (Griya?) Sanur for a good value for money hotel in a great location. Hope this helps. - Have a great trip
