Heard an interesting report on from, a recently returned sports
reporter on a Local radio station.
It concerned the legendary bad behaviour of the various "flavours" of
Aussie footballers in Bali.
The story goes that while they were running amock at the Hard Rock pool complex .. one of the footballers came off second best with one of the waterslide!!
Seems he tried to leave a "big toe" at the top of the slides while performing various feats of daring ... not!!
One of the accompanying coaches had to temp re-attach the toe and get him on a flight back to OZ as quick as ...... while I am not aplauding the injury ... it may put a dampner on his football career for next season.
Hope the blame wasn't put back on the Balinese staff at the HardRock location ..
