I completely understand the addiction comment. I am only in my current job for the next three weeks (until I leave for Bali) and the only thing keeping my motivation intact about coming to work is being able to get onto the net a check the forum! I have truely found more on Bali within this forum than from any travel agent or brochure. I travel regularly and before any future trip I will be checking the net for forums like this for information.
Singapore Airlines are fanatastic, and as mentioned by many previous forum-goers(?) their service is great. From what I have heard, they have the second best safety record for any international carrier (just behind 'Qantas'). I believe you will have no problems at all.
