Just curious. Are you also from Canada? I just booked a holiday through Singapore Airlines that offered a choice of those hotels you mentioned, plus a few more. I asked the same question on this forum.
I was told by numerous people that the Wina was terrible. Try look in the archives for my posting, if you don't get the answers you want. I think I asked that question some time between Sept 28-Oct 1 (I think).
I know that's a long way back to look, but it might be worth it.
