The hotel you are referring to is the Bunga Permai and I just got back from staying there for over a week. It is absolutely the best. Great pool, unbelievable views of rice fields and a river gorge. Good restaurant with excellent food. Brand new place with verrandas off the rooms overlooking these views. Quiet and peaceful and an excellent bargain.
