Well didn't that bring some lonely missionaries out of the closet. You silly bastards, take it or leave CAN be done with humour AND respect. Some don't warrant it, I'd hate to translate what my Balinese companions said to some hawkers and newspaper sellers. For the good ones I shouted cold drinks and traded.
I really wonder if some of you silly sods who jump to conclusions and philosphise out of context have ever been to Kuta, or live in the real world!
Kuta (Central) may be in Bali but don't confuse it with 10 years or 10 miles away. It's hot, filthy, cheap and fun. It's a sleepy little fishing village I lived in a long time ago that went stupid over tourists.
I also love and respect culture but don't bullshit, take a sedative.
Oh and to the comma critic, get a life.
