Thanks for all of your tips. We probably won't be spending too much time in Kuta, as our hotel is in another town (village?). But we'll definitely check it out.
I appreciate your advice about "hashish". I don't smoke, but when you're on holiday, you can easily be tempted into trying new things. You probably saved several people from being busted by these so-called dealers!!!!
