It is the best hotel I have been to in my whole life!! Good choice! You arrive at the entrance where you are greeted with a Lei around your neck and a gong is sounded. You walk to the reception desk past water ponds and are met by your concierge. We were staying in the Regency club which is a village where you have your own private pool and breakfast and evening drinks and hor d'oeves (no idea how to spell that!!). The grounds of the hotel are superb with streams, rivers, ponds, waterfalls, bridges and loads of beautiful flowers everywhere! There are five fantastic restaurants which are Salsa Verde, our favourite Italian near the beach which has a bar on top where you can sit and watch the waves crash on the beach. Mei Yen, an Indonesian restaurant, spicy but nice. A Japanese restaurant and the Watercourt café which is a bit more posh with excellent food. The last restaurant is made up of food stalls and you pay a set price to eat as much as you want. They also have a dance floor with nightly entertainment of local dancing and music. Most of the bars shut at 11pm and everyone is in bed by 12 so it is definitely a very relaxing holiday!
