We stayed at the Amandari in May and it was lovely.
The staff is friendly and pleasant and did everything
to make our visit enjoyable. It is a very comfortable
place, luxurious in an understated way, our driver and
all of the staff were quite competent. While we were
there we met a travel writer from a magazine who was
touring Bali, staying as various hotels and resorts. He
had just come from a few days at the Four Seasons when we
met him at the Amandari. From his comments I believe he
definitely prefered the Amandari, the Four Seasons could
have been a Four Seasons snywhere, not a s much Bali
atmosphere. I can highly recommend thre Amandari.
