There are Cirrus and Plus machines all over Bali, especially Kuta and Sanur. However, make sure you take out as much cash during each transaction that you can. This will reduce the network fees that you pay. Also, the maximum amount is usually not very high, usually 400,000 - 600,000 rp. I just got my bank statements back from 2 different banks and one bank charged u.s. $1.50 per withdrawl, and the other $3.00 per withdrawl from the Cirrus network. If you can, make your ATM cards a joint account so you can get 2 cards. Sometimes the magneticity will be lost on a card and it will not work. It's safer to have two cards. The ATM machines in Bali usually dispense in 20,000 notes. Also, when you put your card in the machine, make your selections right away. Another tourist from my hotel hesitated too long and the machine confiscated her card. She got it back though.
