Merpati is absolutely "No Frills" apart from food and drinks which were both fine. No movies, no audio and a decided lack of air conditioning until almost at cruising altitude - this isn't pleasant when you are sitting on the tarmac in Bali.
However, they are happy to have people come up to the cockpit which is a rarity these days.
LG Hotel. The pool was VERY warm. Can be a bit of a problem should one be prone to nasty infections in vulnerable areas. On the up side, Canestan and Flagyl are readily from any Apotik, much cheaper than Oz and no prescription needed.
