My family of two adults and three daughters, 17, 14 and 12 spent four nights at Ananda Cottages in September.
The setting was delightful in the rice paddies and the staff were lovely. The restaurant was very good too. We really enjoyed our guided walk through the paddies and local village with Wayan, on the staff there.
It was a bit far out of the centre of town to walk safely especially at night ( because of the narrow unlit roads and no footpaths) but there were always drivers ready at the front.
The pool was lovely and the coolest most refreshing water I have ever been in in Bali.
We had two adjoining rooms upstairs. They were charming, spacious rooms but because there was no glass in the windows and there no air conditioning. Some beds had mosquito nets and others didn't. I got quite bitten but noone else did. The frogs and dogs were pretty noisy at night.
I found it a great experience for the family and we all really enjoyed our stay there.
