I took my mum to bali with my husband and two children. My mum is 70 and she had a ball this was her second trip last one being 7 years ago. I found because of her age the hawkers left her alone. They would even stop busy traffic in Kuta so she could cross the road. Don't get me wrong she is the frail. They love elderly people and respect them. My mum wouldn't stay anywhere else but in Kuta. As she say hawkers are part of Bali.
