I hope I have not contracted malaria, as I've been eaten alive by mosquitoes in Sanur and Ubud. I had lots of different mosquito-repulsive (NATO, 5/5,...) and got bitten anyway.
I took a tab a day for malaria, called Savarine, and I still have to take it for 4 weeks after I returned. It was not too much of an hassle taking this tab, except that you have to take it at the same time everyday (and with jet lag, this is bothering).
I wish you a wonderful time in Bali, you'll see there are lots of charming little lizards busy eating the mosquitoes :)
