Sorry for taking so long to reply - Yes we went with Sorbek as well - it was only about level 2 rapids. Good fun but probably too tame for you. I think that there are bigger rapids avilable on other rivers. Sorbek is the biggest operator in Bali - there are advertisements for it everywhere, but there are other operators also.
We were in Ubud and that was the best place to go from as the river was only about 1/2 hours drive away.
Sorry, I'm not familiar with repelling, do you mean abseiling? Anyway, though I'm sure it's available, I don't know anything about it I'm afraid.
