I saw the resort you talk about 3 months ago. Its actually a timeshare property, right on the beach south of Candidasa village (too far to walk). The resort is small, the pool is small too. The rooms are OK but it doesnt compare well with other places to stay in the area. Still if its for free, then it will be OK. I didnt eat there so cant comment on the food. I can recommend better places in Candidasa if you want..I go there every year so know it very well
