If you visit Bali for a short time i.e. a few weeks or one to three months, don't waste your time going to these islands except for a day cruise. Beaches are not better than in Jimbaran, accommodation is extremely lousy and totally overpriced, food not acceptable at all (at US$30 for lunch).
