Great post. Your experience at the Bat Cave was like ours. Except there was nothing much there anyway except bats, which stank awfully. Not only were the hawkers at that temple the worst we encountered in Bali, but there is nothing much to look at anyway. Keep well away.
In case the Bali thought police are out there, let me hasten to recommend the Elephant Cave Temple, which is really very much more interesting.
