In '94 I was in Bali and Agung Batur (Mt. Batur) was very active. People were very concerned that it would blow at that time at that time. Although I haven't returned to Bali again this year, there was no activity last year. What you do frequently get in Bali are earthquakes. All five times I've lived in Bali I've been in at least one or more. They can range anywhere from mild to strong shaking. My local friends tell me that the quake is mild when you fell a swaying in your butt and strong if you feel it in your head. As for typhoons, have never heard of any concerns. Hope this helps.
