Perfect-really!! I spent one month in Bali in May of
'97 and it was wonderful- sure the first day may be
a bit overwhelming due to the heat but you adjust
to it. From my experience it really depends on
the kind of experience your looking for- you can
easliy go to the Rits or any of your typical resorts
but in that case you could be anywhere- and Bali
has a lot to offer. Considering its your honeymoon
and money is not of a great worry-you could try the
Armandari in Ubud(where Mick Jaggare stayed) or Ubud SPA- two more local-and
beautifully located hotels. There are beautiful
cottages to choose from too. Ubud is a definate
spot to check out, they have a variety of dances
being performed every night, great places to eat
ie cafe Miro, cafe Luna, cafe Wrung Wayane, great
shopping wonderful people. There is a wonderful
massuse located off monkey forest road-spend the
day there. Also Puri LOmbok Cottages is romantic
situated in Munduc-the middle of Bali. Ubud is great
for jewlery shopping too. To get an ocean perspective
I wouldn't really know where to suggest- Except to
find Padang Padang beach which is close to Uluwatu.
La Lucciola in Kuta is a nice place to eat and the
thai resturants are nice in Kuta- enjoy- indulge
have a nice time.
