I traveled for several months through Indonesia to Bali with my 14 month old son. Diapers were the only day to day problem at that age. He got sick once in Singaraja but the hospital was very good (and cheap). The Balinese are great with kids and he was always disappearing with someone and showing up hours later. When we left he was speaking Balinese and no English!
