If you are looking for SIMPLE, clean "Bali as it Used to be" accommodation try Villa Wayan at Nusa Lembongan. You can travel over on their large outrigger which takes 50minutes and costs 20,000Rps. Anything else takes 2 hours and costs the same or more. There are three complexes . Villa Wayan itself up on the cliff with four sleep 3 rooms @ 65,oooRps and the Restaurant with really great food and the best sunset views on the Island. Down on the beach they have the Coral House with a room up and one down. My pick as it is so private and so close to the beach. 65,oooRps. Behind this is Koko Palms. A fun place very brightly painted and with a lovely garden the rooms are 35,oooRps including breakfast. You have the use of the beachfront property during the day even though it is only half a minute to walk to the beach. Most people go up to the Restaurant at night because of the sunset and the view of the seagrass and fishing outriggers coming home. Great music too. I stayed here for three weeks and it wasn,t a minute too long. You would have to ask the boss Simon about special rates but as the charges are so cheep I don,t think there would be any. The number to ring is 0062 811393387. cheers Gill
