There are some excellent night clubs in the Kuta area - Sari Club, Peanuts, Double Six...
But the BEST one in Kuta would have to be a little place called "DOUBLE O ONE"
If you go to Kuta, find this place in Jalan Legian and have a great time. The music is good, the drinks are cheap and the people there are fun.
