Lombok is totally different to Bali but is well
worth a visit. The main resort area us fairly
quiet and OK for relaxing, but there are some
interesting things to get out and see that are
different to Bali, especially the old Sasak villages
but be careful - some try to rip you off - and
villages making excellent pottery. If you like
snorkelling or just laying back on an island, the
Gilis are also good for a few days. If you have 3 weeks
it is worth some timein Lombok.
