All houses available for short-term rental have at least 2 or 3 maids and gardeners employed by the owner. These are usually very friendly and willing to help and often well-trained. Their knowledge of English is often limited although they speak and understand usually much more then the staff in houses which are not rented to foreign visitors.
The maids keep the house clean, do the laundry, cooking, shopping and anything else you require (including babysitting). They often live in a separate building on the compound and are there 24 hours, and as they know already what foreigners expect there are usually no problems whatsoever.
