Hospitals in Denpasar are ok for simple things and if you just need someone to take care of you. For serious problems or any kind of operations, better go to Surabaya or Jakarta. Most Bali residents actually go to Singapore. Perth in Australia is also becoming increasingly popular as many people prefer the personal treatment there to factory-like Singapore.
