We have been to most "dream destinations" over the last years and Bali is now our first choice.
Phuket and other parts of Thailand have this long rainy season from June to October/November, and in the Caribbean the people are not very friendly and we were often afraid of robberies (it actually happened once to my daughter in Barbados).
In Bali we even enjoyed the weather in the rainy season (we were there over X-mas and in January), we really liked the people, and there are so many different things to see and do that all in our family (ages from 12 to 67 years) want to go back often.
