The issue for me is managing to get the time off work, and also the fact that there are so many other exciting destinations close by that we want to see while we're here, so striking a balance between new destinations and our old favourite is tough!
As for what I do in KL - I work for a large multinational tyre company as a specialist in the HR field of Compensation and Benefits - in other words, I'm the person at Head Office that you hate because you think you get paid cr@p :) I was tansferred to our regional head office earlier this year when a new position was created.
The scope of my role is the whole ASEAN region - so my job covers Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore and Thailand - hence I travel a fair bit for work, and getting time off can be hard.
Nevertheless - I will be back, hopefully sooner rather than later - even if it's just to finalise the purchase of a bale :)
