Oooh! That's a tough one!

To be honest - I don't know the name of the shop, but I CAN tell you how to get there - and you can't miss it...

Route One - (most direct)

Enter the Sindhu Markets - there's a footpath on either side, take the left footpath and follow it all the way down to the end (the very, very, very end that is) look to your right and you're there. The very, very, very end means squeeze down past the point of no return in the more open market area and keep going :)

Route Two - (more scenic)

Enter the Sindhu markets and take the right hand path - when it veers right around the corner, follow it until you reach the paintings at the end and then veer left - (you can't turn right anyway). Walk a little way down and his shop is on the right. It has lots of wood carvings and trinkets - but he has some sample hairy lanterns on the left hand side up on a shelf.

We bought eight small ones and had them stained dark chocolate for $95k each - they were packaged into two boxes and each box weighed around 5.5 kilos, so it's just over a kilo per small lantern. The large ones started at 200k, but I think they come down to around $150-ish.

I did see lots of hairy lanterns at Geneva Handicraft - small ones also lining the tops of the shelves - they were around the same price - maybe 90k, so I figure considering I had mine coloured to order, the price was very reasonable. And - if he doesn't have exactly what you want, just ask - he will get it for you.
