I have just ticked Jimbaran Bay off my bucket list - Beautiful sunset, great ambiance. Out of all of the restaurants on the beach we chose Dewato Cafe.

Negotiated price down to 500,000 from 600K for the set menu for two as well as a taxi ride back to Kuta. At least that made it a $50 disaster and not a $60 one. My recommendation - stay away.
Despite the meal, I have no regrets about going there, but next time will have a late lunch, go and watch the sunset and take a walk, and then come back to Kuta/Legian and buy a great seafood meal for far less.
