If you can believe the newspapers the group where schoolies who bought/ rescued?? the monkey off someone on the street for $100.
According the article the monkey was on a short leash and kept in a small cage.
The rescuers? took the monkey back to their room, put it on a long leash so it had a bit more freedom ..the monkey subsequently bit several of the little darlings, who then had to pay for a course of Rabies shots.LOL
The article also said that when they had to leave Bali they were going to leave the monkey with a local vet.
