Day 14

Our last full day on Lembongan and Noggin came in at 6:15am with his foghorn leghorn voice and says "are we going for a walk mum?" While I am in a dead sleep and scares the bejesus out of me! So I yell at him and tell Him to zip it but in spite of my efforts cannot get back to sleep. Grrr. At 6:45am I take Noggin for a walk. Again I am in awe of the beauty which surrounds me it's always so much more beautiful in the mornings and I'm so happy to be here, Noggin takes photos on his DS as I take them on my camera, majority of his photos are of the dogs everywhere and he amuses many of the Balinese men all sitting around in the mornings as he excitedly takes a photo of the two puppies play fighting on the beach (one puppy is humping the other ones head!) We head back and Noggin has enjoyed his walk with his Mumma. :0) Nugget has just woken on our return so we all go jump on Emu! We have breakfast at Ware Ware and it was ok, nothing to write home about but at least their bread appeared reasonably fresh. Our final day is spent lazing around the pool, I have a little shop in the street and Emu a surf. Emu has a massage and then I went and had a hair cream bath at lulur spa, the spa is divine and I suddenly wish I'd spent more time here. My hair cream bath was nice, it was my first one so I wasn't sure what to expect, my masseuse was a little heavy handed in the head massage and arm massage, so I was disappointed wishing I had just ordered a normal full body massage, she kept doing the hair pulley thing as they do at the end of a normal massage however she was just too rough and it was becoming uncomfortable, I went to say something but didn't, not sure why, being polite? Stupid really, but she did most certainly redeem herself with the neck and shoulders massage which was fantastic confirming to me I should have just got the massage. But overall it was still a lovely experience and my hair not only smells amazing, I can now actually run a brush through it! It's been getting quite matted with all the swimming and its super long so it's so hard to manage when swimming and wearing hats all day! The heavens opened up for the first time during my whole holiday (we've been so lucky and had great weather, in fact it's been really hot, especially on Lembongan) and pelted down for about 20 mins, it brought a nice cooler breeze to the air. Of to Muntigs for dinner again, and again it was a nice meal. Tomorrow is our last day and I seriously couldn't be more sad.. Although I do feel like I've had a holiday it's just never enough here, I'm almost tempted to move to the west coast just so I could go to Bali more regularly!

Day 15 final day..

I awake and take a walk and try and soak and saviour every last visual, moment and smell of Lembongan, we pack our stuff, have breakfast, and a little swim and it's time to go. Getting a lil antsy about the boat ride and try and tell myself all will be fine. 10 mins in and one big slam and I've welled up with tears floating down my cheeks. I don't know what it is, I am positive it's the boys because although I'm not a huge fan of boats in the ocean I'm usually not this frightened, I grew up on boats water-skiing my whole life yet the ocean is different and I'm worried if it flips how the hell I'm going to save my boys. Anyway I get over it when we hit the shores of Sanur. I nearly jump off and kiss the sand!
We are taken to the Ari Putri upon recommendation from some formites I decided to book a room for the day so we can, swim, relax, and shower before the dreaded flight home. It's a beautiful little hotel with a great room, I however have to head back to Mrs Pak and pick up my ring so I do and she has done a spectacular job and I'm very happy with it yay! I was even given back one diamond which was slightly bigger than the rest so didn't go with the ring.
I try n grab a couple of last things and then have to go to sunset outlets and get a last few items which takes forever then headed back to Sanur. By this time nearly 3 hours later I've missed my opportunity to explore Sanur. Emu heads off for a massage and myself and the boys have a swim, everyone here appears European and older and boy did they have an "oh nooo kids" look on their face as we arrived at the pool. I had a quick bite to eat and the boys had a quick swim and then we headed off to the other pool where they appeared to be a little more accepting. Overall though a beautiful little resort, but with young ones I think it's easier to stay at larger resorts and as I said this was just a place to relax and rejuvenate on the cheap before our flight home.
We all shower and re pack our things and head for the airport, the worst part of a holiday knowing you have a long night a head and your destined for home, I'm not one that gets excited about the prospect of home and am anxious that another year in paradise has come to an end. Besides the group of bogans causing a huge scene on the plane making me cringe at being Australian we fly home and the boys were both fantastic and slept as much as possible on the flight, through the airport in about 50 mins waved through customs love it, and outside to a freezing wet 11 degree grey day in bloody Melbourne Grrr.

Until next time salamat malam!
