Both drugs and gambling are against the law. Just because you are Australian does and gambling is legal in Australia does not mean you have the right to do it in a country where it is illegal.
You would flame someone who asked where they could buy drugs? What is the difference? Or someone boasting about drink driving.... (ok - i know you cannot die from gambling but it does ruin lives).
btw... my subject title was taking the pee - i wish to neither buy drugs, nor gamble, unlike some - i abide by the laws in countries which i visit because i respect those laws.
