I've never been messed around with changed or delayed flights with Virgin, but I've flown with them twice and they suck. After the first time, I said never again, but I buckled as the family I was traveling with needed the cheapest fares. This time we all said never again.
The planes are just too cramped and squishy. One flight home the plane was hot and stuffy. Last trip we got stuck in the back row and had a constant stream of people lined up leaning against us waiting for the bathrooms - so again, hot and stuffy with no air around us.
Just, yuck.
I'd pay the extra and go with any other airline than Virgin, out of Sydney.
I've only gone Starclass with Jetstar, so don't know what their economy section is like, but I'd pay more and go Starclass or Garuda in future.
