I spoke with the previous spa operator, Ms. Ketut, who told me the hotel owner threw them out with only hours notice and kept all their furniture and equipment!
Seems that the hotel owner wanted to keep all of the money and just takeover the business which Ketut worked for 10 years to build. She started out on the beach as a massage girl and pursued her dream to create one of the best spas in Bali.
