Drove past the Ubud markets yesterday afternoon.About half of the original market has been demolished and being replaced with what look like small individual glass fronted shops.The other half of the market appears to be functioning normally.Still plenty there to buy.If the powers that be are planning on turning the entire market into individual shops it will certainly lose most of its charm.
