We have 2 kids (one is now working before returning to uni). As my husband have both worked while bringing up kids, we got no handouts at all from the govt. no free $1000 or whatever it was, nor the later amount.
Oh well, we still save enough to go to Bali often.
Lucky those who get free money off the govt. All I seem to do is pay too much tax to help pay for other people.
