we went to phuket last year for a change and are going back to bali this year.phuket is a little bit more expensive,nice beaches but as said before the taxi mafia charge what they like and its appx 4 times expensive as bali.food better in phuket.you do not get hassled to buy stuff from stall holder but we have decided we like bali better.
