well we haven't really stayed in an extremely quiet area, although our October visit to southern Sanur was more relaxing than our earlier visits to Legian.
People do say that Candidasa, north of sanur along the east coast is quieter, and you could ask on the forum about accommmodation in that region or google it.
We have just asked about accommodation in Ubud, another quiet area in the hills region, so search the forum for our username, iandeborah, as we have had some good responses. Prices ranging around the $70-100 mark per room per night.
We had Sanur Beach Villas in October for $38 per room per night.
