Have stayed at Tjamphuan and loved it great 3* hotel, spacious rooms, lovely balcony, two pools, amazing spa, nice walk into town just over $100 p/n for 3, no fridge in room but just ring for ice for drinks if required, nice breakfasts. Shuttle service provided Ananda cottages little further maybe extra 5 min walk into town, again lovely, under $70, two pools, lovely balconies good sized rooms not as special as Tjamphuan but good price, good size room, clean, ordered off menu and ate on balcony for breakfast and was included, no shuttle but drivers out front were reasonable. Would stay at both again but def would look at Tjamphuan as first choice. No monkeys, opposite end of Ubud. And Bintang supermarket between the two hotels, very convenient.
