Hey everyone, for those who have donated Vaseline and other goods, thank you so much.
When we commenced the drive in August/September we never could've imagined how successful it would be and how much it struck a chord with people in Australia and around the world. Bali Kids who are in charge of treating the children and distributing the Vaseline have advised us they now have enough in storage to treat the children for about the next 3 years! A phenomenal effort by all involved.
For that reason we are concentrating on shifting the focus to PediaSure formula which is a powdered formula that is mixed with milk or water and used to treat malnutrition. The children each go through 1 900gm tin per week and Bali Kids have advised us they are running low.
So please, if you are considering donating to the cause we have enough Vaseline for the time being. Please can you concentrate your efforts on PediaSure. It's readily available in Bali from pharmacies and supermarkets. It sells for around the equivalent of AU$25 a tin but you can get it on special from time to time for about AU$20.
