& If when we head down to the pool, it is clear that the towels have been dumped on chairs & no one is around the pool or in it we just fold the towels & take the lounge chairs.
We have never had a problem doing this. No one has ever said anything to us. We just don't take any lounge chairs we want. We ask bathers or people near by if the lounges are taken. If they're not & you can tell(there are never any belongings nearby; thongs, sunnies etc)we do.
I think that people do it because they can get away with it, but they know it is wrong, hence why no one has ever said anything to us. We are polite about how we do it too.
Common sense should prevail in these situations. I wouldn't worry too much & enjoy your trip! :)
