Yes it will matter as there will be 2 conversion costs - first when AUD$ are used to load the card with US$, then when the transaction is done in Bali it will be converted from US$ to RP$. I would think that it would then be best to just load it with AUD$ and then when they do the transaction it will be in RP$ - so no double conversion.
