Ignore Dave...he's a typical Kuta freak.
Plenty to do in Sanur if you look for it. Don't know the Villa Bella so find it hard to advise.
Two halves of Sanur...South and north of the Hyatt. Also two halves....beachwalk and the main road (Jl Tembalang or similar)
On the beachwalk Kesuma way in the south is my preferred choice - but go in the evening when the owner has been out fishing and you can get your fish & prawns cooked to your satisfaction. Dozens of warungs along the walk to Sindhu. Agree with another poster that the Beach Cafe the best.
O. the main street , to the south you have 2 pubs, Trophy and the Cat & Fiddle. Both serve good basic food. CF has a Balinese Irish band on most nights. North of the 2 pubs maybe 20 restaurants till you get to the Hyatt includinf 2 Indian that I would favour - think Little India and Gateway to India. Also Massimo's just north of the little roundabout.
North of Hyatt maybe 50 restaurants includind Coriander, Ducks Nutz, and many others.
Out of Sanur worth going to the Bird & Reptile parks. Adjacent to each other. The bird park puts on a free flying exposition twice a daywhere for instance eagles swoop down to take food from the head od their keeper.
Ubud is 45 minutes away. Worth visiting. North of Ubud (I think ) is a park where you can take an elephant ride if that is your thing. East of Sanur the Safari park....never visited but will do
